After the fantastic sunrise and brunch we headed for the beach for some time on the sand. Even though the sand didn’t have the soft texture it was still comfortable to sit and write while watching people windsurf and run to help others with their boats. One of the main things which happen at the beach is the water sports and because it was summer vacation a lot of activities were happening on land and in water.
We later on in the evening after dinner went
to play mini golf. It was the first tie my friend played so it was kind of
special. The mini golf course was located in a bush like area a block from
where we were staying. If it wasn’t for us getting list we probably wouldn’t
even have known it existed. The course was very well kept with lovely foliage
and flowers surrounding it. The courses were a bit tricky but entertaining with
different obstructions.
We were done just in time to see the last
of the sunset which was halfway obscured by clouds but still looked
breathtaking. The colours blended with horizon creating the perfect atmosphere
22:30 at night. it was a good getaway, even though it wasn’t for a long period
of time it was well worth it to experience another piece of Belgium.
