Beach | Cape Town | South Africa | 2017

28 December 2017 - If you live far away from the ocean like I do, then you appreciate a beach when you see one. We stopped next to the road where the tar met the sand. The beach stretched out before us with the road behind us.

The beach extended to either side, with washed up shells, sea plants and other objects stranded on the sand. My favourite part about this location was the seagulls which flew above the area. Sand dunes with green plants hosted hundreds of seagulls who flew overhead; others were nesting, while some stood around.

We spent a short time at that particular beach, taking photos and getting our feet wet. I don’t even know what the name of the beach was - if it even had one. It did however remind me how random places were sometimes the most magical.
