A place at night is extremely different than during the day. Yes, the buildings are still located where they are during the day, but at night they appear more magical, especially in Europe where buildings have a way to come to life at night.
We spent the evening walking around Ghent and it was magical, the buildings glowed, while store displays were lit up. One of the best parts is walking in a street alone, without all the tourists and locals filling up the streets. You get to see everything out of a different perspective.
If you ever get bored of a place, try exploring it at night, you’d be amazed at what you might find!
