In my previous post I talked about how a city looks different at night, another way of seeing a city form a different perspective is from the water (that is if a city has water). During my last week in Ghent, my friend and I decided to go on a canal cruise through the city.
I’m very happy we went, because we saw places we hadn’t seen from the streets, as well as a different angle on things. Another great thing about a canal cruise is that you have a tour guide who tells you all about the city.
